Broadway Theatres In New York City Extend Vaccination and Mask Requirement for Everyone in the Theatre

New York—October 1, 2021—The Broadway League announced today that the owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City will continue to require vaccinations for audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theatre staff, for all performances through the end of the year. The Stage Manager’s Association of the United States (SMA) Announces New Leadership

The Stage Manager’s Association of the United States (SMA) welcomed 10 new directors to its first board meeting of the 2021-22 SMA term, who had not served on the board in the past. Joining the leadership team are Alfredo ‘Fredo’ Aguilar, an active committee member located in the Central Region, Chicago, and R. Shinedown and Bandit Lites Take to the Road Again

NASHVILLE – When Shinedown frontman Brent Smith was on stage to present Bandit Lites founder Michael T. Strickland with the Parnelli Lifetime Achievement Award in Jan. 2020, neither knew that in a few weeks, the world of touring would abruptly stop, and it wouldn’t be until Sept. 2021 before Shinedown could tour again.
