Jeff Ravitz, Intensity Advisors, created the lighting for a unique and exciting evening of music by violin virtuoso Lucia Micarelli. The show premieres on the national PBS network beginning March 3.

LOS ANGELES – American band Mutemath has been playing their unique brand of alternative rock for over 15 years, and creative production design company 44 Designs has shaped the group’s live visual look for most of that time. For the band’s Play Dead U.S. tour last fall, the first leg of a larger worldwide tour in support of a September album release, 44 Designs complemented the band’s eclectic sounds using color and effects from Elation Professional’s Artiste DaVinci LED moving spot luminaire.

Country music singer Luke Pell is out on tour with a lighting package supplied by Bandit Lites. The Bachelorette alum and Army veteran recently released his EP Luke Pell, racking up over 500,000 streams on Spotify, and is traveling coast to coast on a 100-stop tour.

MIAMI – This year marked the 30th edition of Univision’s annual Premio Lo Nuestro (PLN) awards show. PLN 2018 featured some of the greatest artists in Latin music and special tributes to icons like Emilio and Gloria Estefan, who have paved the way for the next generation of artists. LD Tom Kenny lit the event, held at the American Airlines Center on Feb. 22 with gear provided by 4Wall Entertainment. Kenny crafted looks to highlight the prominence and growth of the longest-running music awards show on Spanish language TV in the U.S.

PORT CHESTER, NY – Pink Talking Fish, a band that combines tributes to the Talking Heads and Phish along with songs from Pink Floyd such as “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2),” featured a different kind of wall during its Feb. 10 show at the iconic 1,800-seat Capitol Theatre – a video wall, made up of Chauvet Professional PVP X3 LED tiles. CLEVELAND, OH – For the three-part “Power of Rock Experience” permanent exhibit at Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, BRC Imagination Arts and Clearwing Systems Integration worked with Manny Treeson of NYX Design on a lighting and video installation that uses Ayrton MagicDot-R and ROE Visual Strip fixtures to amp up the power of the visuals.
