WORLD – Foo Fighters will be on the road through December promoting their ninth studio album, Concrete & Gold.  Following dates in Asia, the Seattle band will hit Berlin and London before opening their US fall tour at Cal Jam 17 in San Bernardino, California in October. EVANS, GA – Country music fans got a glimpse of the future on a warm August Georgia night at the Lady Antebellum Pavilion. There on stage, performing solos and as a group, were six budding talents visiting from Nashville. Having written hits for some of country’s biggest names like Luke Byran and Florida Georgia Line, the sextet was there to chase the dream, as performers. Supporting them with some colorful, evocative star-worthy looks was a John Berret designed lightshow that utilized 35 CHAUVET Professional fixtures supplied by Quest Sound & Productions.

LOVELAND, CO –  Determined to remain true to their musical roots, the organizers of the ARISE Music Festival have steadfastly avoided lengthening its name to include the word “art.” Yet even though there was no shortage of great music at the 2017 version of this event, including national acts like Ani DiFranco, Tipper and Lettuce, ARISE was almost as much about seeing as listening. From a flaming owl that warmed people at night, to a gigantic willow sculpture, to painters off stage doing live art interpretations of the music, this early August festival served up a variety of surreal and beguiling looks.

USA – JR Lighting provided the lighting, rigging and control package for the U.S. leg of American pop punk band All Time Low’s “The Young Renegades” tour , a successful six-week run this summer that featured Elation Professional lighting and video. Lighting designer Jeff Maker (Pierce the Veil, The Dresden Dolls) has worked with All Time Low for the past eight years and earlier this year used Elation lighting on a string of shows in the UK and Europe. For 2017’s U.S. leg he added a dominant upstage visual piece in the form of an eye-catching LED video wall.
