Theatre Communications Group Launches Legacy Leaders of Color Video Project

NEW YORK, NY – Theatre Communications Group (TCG), the national organization for theatre, launched the Legacy Leaders of Color Video Project (LLCVP). Working with MOPED, a video production company, and with support from Doris Duke Charitable Foundation, TCG filmed a series of interviews chronicling the stories of founding leaders of theatres of color. An introductory Launch video featuring all nine leaders is now available on the TCG website.

INDIANAPOLIS — Every year, the event known as “Downtown Indy, Inc.’s Circle of Lights presented by IBEW #481” kicks off the holiday season with a spectacle that lights up the Indiana Soldiers and Sailors Monument like a giant Christmas tree. The annual switch-on ceremony in late November made use of a roof, lights and stages provided by Mid-America Sound, with a video assist from Dodd Technologies. Mid-America Sound’s Bob Williams and John “Robo” Robison used an Avolites Sapphire Touch console to design, program and run the lighting show for the event.
