NYC – Christien Methot served as lighting designer for the World Humanitarian Day Concert at the United Nations in August and used a number of Elation Professional and ADJ dynamic lighting fixtures to light the event. The concert, held August 19 at General Assembly Hall at the United Nations in New York City, starred American actor and singer Leslie Odom Jr., winner of the 2016 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Aaron Burr in the hit musical Hamilton.

NEW ORLEANS – Although the Crescent City may be more known for Mardi Gras, it also does one heck of a job on Halloween. This much was readily apparent to the 100,000-plus fans who turned out to New Orleans City Park October 27-29 to enjoy the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience, or Voodoo Fest as it is more commonly known. NASHVILLE  – The 2016 CMA Awards Ceremony, broadcast live on Nov. 2 to millions of viewers on CBS, marked a 50-year milestone and bestowed honors on a number of longtime Bandit Lites clients. Honorees included Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and Thomas Rhett, among others. Garth Brooks’ triumphant 2016 was capped off with the highest honors of the night as he was crowned Entertainer of the Year.
