KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites’ touring inventory continues to grow with the addition of Martin’s VDO Sceptron 10. The linear LED video fixture promises easy setup, configuration and allows lighting designers a wide variety of looks for both indoor and outdoor shows. The Sceptron has become increasingly popular with designers and has been joining several tours this year.

BALTIMORE — CBS Radio Baltimore turned to LD Brett Angstadt to give a live-venue look for the station’s new UpClose Performance Studio, which is used for webcasts. Angstadt used a variety of Chauvet fixtures supplied by Showtime Sound, including Rogue R1 Spots, COLORdash Accent Quad RGBAs, COLORdash Par-Hex 7s and Ovation F-165WW units. The rig also includes COLORband PiX RGB bars from Chauvet DJ and Trusst truss.

WORLD – MILOS has just released a second video as part of its special 3-month promotion on lifts from Mobiltechlifts, where you receive a free transportation wheel kit with every lift purchased until 30 September.  In this video, Area Four Industries R&D Director Marc Hendriks dives into the technical design, testing and certification of Mobiltechlifts products.

LAS VEGAS – For the North American Hair Styling Awards (NAHA) event at Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Convention Center in late July, Chris Hubbard and his team at Emergency Production used 32 Rogue moving lights from Chauvet Professional, supplied by AMP’D Entertainment.

BUFFALO, NY —  For the recent North American leg of Twenty One Pilots’ (TØP) Emotional Roadshow tour, which ran from May 31 to June 21, VER provided close to 180 Robe fixtures, including 56 BMFL Spots, 12 BMFL Blades, 68 Pointes, 14 LEDWash 1200s and 28 LEDWash 600s. VER also provided video and audio gear for the tour.

MILWAUKEE – Billed as the world’s largest music festival, Summerfest drew more than 800,000 people to the Henry Meier Festival Grounds on the shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, WI.  A.C.T Lighting, Inc. supported Clearwing Productions with MA Lighting consoles and Clay Paky Scenius spot fixtures for the 11-day event.  A.C.T Lighting is the exclusive distributor of MA Lighting and Clay Paky products in North America.

NASHVILLE — Hard rock band Shinedown recently wrapped their Carnival of Madness tour with a lighting package provided by Bandit Lites. The tour included performances by Bandit client Halestorm, Black Stone Cherry and Whiskey Myers and featured Shinedown’s most recent album Threat to Survival, which topped Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart and included the hit single, “Cut the Cord.”

CHILLICOTHE, IL – Ryan Warffuel and Max Koehler of Antic Studios used Chauvet Professional PVP S5 panels for the Vibe Tent Stage at this year’s Summer Camp Music Festival. The event takes place at at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, IL over Memorial Day Weekend.

PHILADEPHIA — Lenny Sasso was called in earlier this year to update the lighting system within Philadelphia’s Union Transfer live music venue, which had a long history before it started to beckon music lovers in 2011. Sasso included Chauvet Professional lighting fixtures in the new system, including eight Rogue R2 Washes, 16 COLORado 2-Quad Zoom Tours and two Strike 882 white LED strobe fixtures

SPRING, TX — Dierks Bentley is hot. Not only has the country artist’s latest album “Black” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard and Top Album Sales charts this summer, he’s been selling out his “Somewhere on a Beach” tour at nearly every stop. LOS ANGELES – Nintendo’s concept for their 20,000 square ft. Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) booth was to immerse gamers into the open world of the Kingdom of Hyrule, the setting for its highly anticipated game, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Lighting and visual design studio, Lightswitch, and Ralph Miller Productions turned to 4Wall for their extensive gear package.
