NASHVILLE – Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, Christian music’s largest annual tour, has returned to the road with lighting provided by Bandit Lites. Artists this year include For King and Country, Matthew West, Crowder, Lauren Daigle, Red and Newsong. Production manager Jerry Holcomb worked with Bandit’s project manager Matt King and business development officer Brent Barrett to make the 360-degree stage lighting design a reality.

HOUSTON – The Alley Theatre is a nationally recognized performing arts company that creates a wide range of innovative productions. Recently undergoing a $46.5 million renovation, which included improvements to the Hubbard Theatre, Associate Director for Design Kevin Rigdon was asked to also serve as the Principal Designer for the project. So working with theatrical consultants Bill Connor & Associates as well as Philips Strand Lighting Authorized Dealer StageLight, Rigdon was tasked with creating a more intimate relationship between the audience and the actors on stage, and he did so using 68 Showline SL PAR 155 ZOOM LED luminaires.

MIAMI – Club designer Michael Meacham of iDesign created a new look on the terrace of downtown Miami club E11EVEN using Chauvet Professional Rogue R2 Washes. He also used Chauvet DJ Intimidator Spot LED 350 moving fixtures.

ATLANTA – The recently released 20th Century Fox movie Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip features a scene at the Gold Room nightclub in Atlanta. The nightspot is equipped with an assortment of Elation and ADJ fixtures. Lighting programmer Jared Greenstein designed the looks for the performance with help from gaffer Dan Cornwall.

DETROIT – LMG Touring provided lighting and LED support for GRiZMAS II, a 12-day fundraiser capped with a concert featuring Grant Kwiecinski, a.k.a. GRiZ.  The asymmetrical design featured 90 of LMG’s 18MM LED tiles and 60 of the company’s 12MM LED LightSlices along with Clay Paky Sharpys, Martin MAC Auras. Production Manager and Lighting Designer Ian Davis used a grandMA console for control, and show elements rolled in on carts for easy setup-teardown.

NEW YORK – More than 50 GLP impression X4 LED moving heads made a recent TV appearance on Legends: OWN at the Apollo, a four-part prime-time special featuring icons such as Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, The Isley Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire.

MIAMI – For Fonseca’s Conexión tour, LD Churry Lafuente’s rig includes Nexus 4×4 COB LED panels, Next NXT-1 moving LED panels and Legend 230SR Beams, all from Chauvet Professional. Línea Estratégica is providing the gear.
