Winter Jam Tour Spectacular Returns with Bandit Lites

NASHVILLE – Winter Jam Tour Spectacular, Christian music’s largest annual tour, has returned to the road with lighting provided by Bandit Lites. Artists this year include For King and Country, Matthew West, Crowder, Lauren Daigle, Red and Newsong. Production manager Jerry Holcomb worked with Bandit’s project manager Matt King and business development officer Brent Barrett to make the 360-degree stage lighting design a reality.

Houston’s Alley Theatre Gears Up with Showline SL PAR 155 ZOOM Luminaires

HOUSTON – The Alley Theatre is a nationally recognized performing arts company that creates a wide range of innovative productions. Recently undergoing a $46.5 million renovation, which included improvements to the Hubbard Theatre, Associate Director for Design Kevin Rigdon was asked to also serve as the Principal Designer for the project. So working with theatrical consultants Bill Connor & Associates as well as Philips Strand Lighting Authorized Dealer StageLight, Rigdon was tasked with creating a more intimate relationship between the audience and the actors on stage, and he did so using 68 Showline SL PAR 155 ZOOM LED luminaires.

LMG Provides LED Video and Lighting Support for GRiZMAS II in Detroit

DETROIT – LMG Touring provided lighting and LED support for GRiZMAS II, a 12-day fundraiser capped with a concert featuring Grant Kwiecinski, a.k.a. GRiZ.  The asymmetrical design featured 90 of LMG’s 18MM LED tiles and 60 of the company’s 12MM LED LightSlices along with Clay Paky Sharpys, Martin MAC Auras. Production Manager and Lighting Designer Ian Davis used a grandMA console for control, and show elements rolled in on carts for easy setup-teardown.

PRG Completes Acquisition of DPS Assets

NEW YORK — PRG announced Jan. 13 that it has completed the acquisition of assets from DigitalSound Production Services, Inc. (DPS). PRG said it would use these assets to strengthen and expand its inventory across a variety of its locations including its Los Angeles and PRG Paskal Lighting facilities.
