NASHVILLE – Shaping Sound, the contemporary dance company founded by Emmy-nominated choreographers Travis Wall, Nick Lazzarini, Teddy Forance, and dance visionary Kyle Robinson, is back on the road with Bandit Lites, bringing their energetic and visually compelling story that is part pop show, part traditional dance, and part rock concert to stages all across North America.

Bash (pictured here), which took place at the University of Texas San Antonio campus Oct. 28. AG Light & Sound supplied lighting packages that included Elation Colour Chorus LED battens and Platinum Series moving heads.

COOKEVILLE, TN and EL PASO, TX — Separate tour bus crashes injured band members for Hinder and The Ghost Inside Nov. 18 and 19. The Nov. 19 crash near El Paso, pictured here, was the more serious of the two, killing The Ghost Inside’s tour bus driver, Gregory Hoke, 31, along with the driver of an 18-wheeler after a head-on collision.

NEW YORK – LD Cody James and others at JDI Productions lit Yellowcard’s latest shows with gear from Chauvet Professional, turning up the intensity a notch with Chauvet’s Rogue RH1 Hybrid moving fixture.

LISLE, IL. – For the third year in a row, Illumination has transformed The Morton Arboretum into a holiday season destination. Guests of all ages are invited to explore the winter landscape on a mile-long walk through the Arboretum’s 50 acres of trees, which are animated with dynamic, interactive vignettes of light and sound. This year, Illumination includes several re-imagined environments, as well as guest favorites from years past.

PHILADELPHIA – Lighting and live production design group Okulus, made up of James Scott and Louis Oliver, provided a lighting design for British musician Passenger, also known as Mike Rosenberg, that included Martin MAC Aura and Aura XB fixtures for the artist’s recent coast-to-coast USA tour.

NASHVILLE – For Jason Isbell’s four sold out shows at the Auditorium in Nashville, Bandit Lites teamed up with lighting design firm PULSE Lighting to support the visuals, which effectively transformed the venue into the interior of a church. Bandit continues to supply the lighting rig on Isbell’s tour as well. The rig included 18 GLP X4S, 12 GLP X4 Bar 10s and five Altman 18’ Scoops.
