The Johnsons will play Friday and Saturday from 4:30pm to 5:30 pm on the Robe booth (#2521) in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Opening for the group are The BRobes, a band comprised entirely of Robe employees.

LOS ANGELES – LD Benoit Richard from Millennium Lighting Design, Inc. who was tasked with creating all the theatrical and effects lighting for NBC’s 2015 “Sunday Night Football” opening with Carrie Underwood, included 34 Robe BMFL Spots to light the shoot. Richard, who has been lighting the intro for several years, also used Robe Pointes and CycFX 8 fixtures for last year’s intro. VER supplied the gear.

NEW YORK – The Electric Zoo Festival has been drawing more than 100,000 EDM fans to Randall’s Island Park each Labor Day Weekend. This year, the festival’s Main Stage featured a phoenix-themed design. The fixtures included plenty of visual firepower from Elation Professional, including Lumina Strips, Cuepix Blinder WW2s and the debut of the new Elation ACL 360 Bar. Burst Sound & Lighting Systems of Detroit supplied the gear.

MONTREAL – The Duceppe theater company staged Judy Garland, la fin d’une étoile, a French language adaptation of Peter Quilter’s End of the Rainbow, which focusing on the last months of actress Judy Garland’s life, in Montreal from April 8 to May 16. Set designer Olivier Landreville required custom carpet to showcase Garland’s performance in a hotel suite, where a piano would sit. He turned to Vincent Rousselle, Duceppe’s technical director, for an assist, and Rousselle found a custom printed carpet solution from Enhance a Colour.
