LAS VEGAS — The Parnelli Awards set for the Rio Hotel & Casino on Oct. 24 will begin as usual with a cocktail reception before all the envelopes are opened and winners announced, and this year the festive mood will continue after the event with the first official Parnelli After Party. The Parnelli After Party will take place in the same Rio ballroom where the show has just finished, noted Marshall Bissett, chairman of the Parnelli Board of Advisors.

LOS ANGELES – To combat theft, an epidemic that annually costs the motion picture/television industry millions, PLASA introduced RENTAL GUARD, an enhanced alert system and missing equipment database consisting of three distinct tools. The RENTAL GUARD Database and Notification Module allows anyone to report stolen equipment and receive notifications of recent thefts at no charge.
