UNIONDALE, NY – LD Tom Kenny included 50 Chauvet Professional Nexus 4×4 LED panels for The Who’s North American tour.  Kenny also included 60 Robe LEDWash 1200s in the lighting rig. PRG is providing the lighting fixtures used for “The Who Hits 50!” tour. PRG Nocturne is supporting the tour’s video needs. The tour’s U.S. leg runs from April 15-May 30 before resuming in Europe in late June. It then returns to the U.S. Sept. 14-Nov. 4, 2015.

LAS VEGAS – XS Nightclub at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas underwent a multi-million dollar lighting re-design with the help of LD Steve Lieberman. He included Elation Professional Platinum series, Proton LED Strobe, and Lumina Strip products in the club’s lighting design.

LAS VEGAS – Tour School, LLC is teaming up with the University of Nevada at Las Vegas’ (UNLV) Continuing Education program to offer STEADI (Stage Technician Education and Development Intensive), to be held in early August at a location to be determined in Las Vegas. The multi-day program is designed to prepare candidates to meet the needs of employers seeking skilled labor for entry-level stage tech positions in live event productions.

VANCOUVER, BC — OneRepublic’s tour in support of their third studio album, Native, began more than two years ago in Italy. NEW YORK – For Bronx–born Bachata standout Romeo Santos’ recent appearance on the Today Show’s Rockefeller Center stage, LD Peter Greenbaum used 10 Chauvet Professional Next NXT-1 moving LED panels. Greenbaum positioned six of the fast moving RGBW fixtures on the downstage deck and four on upstage boxes.

SANDPOINT, ID – For the Hive, a new 1,000-capacity live music venue, Paul Hoffman at Pulse Lighting included 30 GLP impression X4 S LED moving heads in the rig for venue owner Jeff Grady. The design includes three custom disco ball ‘beehives’ in a nod towards the venue’s name.
