NEWPORT, RI – For the Volvo Ocean Race Awards ceremony, held in the backyard of Newport, RI’s Marble House under an 80’ by 130’ tent, LDs Derek Iorfida and Freddy Thompson of JDI Productions used 12 Chauvet Legend 412 moving RGBW LED fixtures, four Legend 230SR Beam moving beams and 12 COLORdash Par-Quad 7 fixtures. They also set up two large video walls made with Chauvet Professional PVP S7 LED video panels.

LAS VEGAS — The official deadline to nominate regional lighting companies for the 2015 Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year is rapidly approaching — only little more than one week away. YOUR nomination stands a very good chance of getting a worthy company on the regional Hometown Hero ballot, and if other PLSN readers agree, that regional lighting company will be one of the six finalists on the final Parnelli Awards Ballot this September. A second round of voting will then determine which company ascends the podium for the national Hometown Hero Lighting Company of the Year Award at the Oct. 24, 2015 Parnelli Awards ceremony.
