ETC’s iRFR and aRFR Apps Support Behind the Scenes

CINCINNATI, OH – At the USITT show in March, Mark Vassallo and David Lincecum of ETC presented a check for $15,205.60 to Behind the Scenes, which reflected ongoing proceeds from sales of ETC’s iRFR and aRFR (Radio Focus Remote) application for iOS and Android devices. Chauvet Creates Versatile Looks for George Washington Party

CHESTERTOWN, MD – Back in 1782, George Washington consented to have the small “College at Chester” renamed in his honor.  More recently, the students and alumni at Washington College (the 10th oldest in the US) have been showing their appreciation for this gesture by throwing a giant annual party in honor of the first president.  This year’s George Washington Party may have been the most colorful ever, thanks in no small measure to a dynamic and colorful lighting display created with a collection of Legend, Q-Wash and COLORado fixtures from CHAUVET Professional.

LD Marc Janowitz Makes Use of GLP X4 Fixtures for Trey Anastasio, Others

PHILADELPHIA – LD Marc Janowitz, an early adopter of GLP’s X4 series of fixtures, has been incorporating them into his rigs since first using them for My Morning Jacket in 2012. The photo here is of a Trey Anastasio show in late 2014. Here, Janowitz used 30 VER-supplied X4s. Although only white chassis versions of the fixtures were available, Janowitz improvised and found a serendipitous use for the white-painted fixtures. Rotating them so they would face backwards when not in use, they became a novel scenic element.
