FIS Alpine Ski Event Lighting Included SGM Fixtures

VAIL, CO – Beaver Creek and Vail hosted FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2015, which drew athletes representing 68 nations and viewership from around the world. TMS supported related events with lighting, truss, staging and LED video elements. The lighting design included 37 Q-7 flood/blind/strobes and 16 P-5 wash lights from SGM.

DETROIT – For Garth Brooks’ current U.S. tour, LD Dave Butzler included 48 Robe LEDWash 1200s, supplied by Bandit Lites, which purchased the fixtures specially for the tour. Brooks’ 2014 and 2015 shows are in support of the country artist’s first studio album in 13 years, Man Against Machine.

NEW YORK – USITT’s Board Mentorship program is designed to offer experience to young professionals and students interested in non-profit arts administration. USITT is accepting applications through April 28 for the third round of the program. Of those applying, two will be chosen to learn from USITT’s 32-member Board of Directors for the July1, 2015 – June 30, 2016 fiscal year.
