Robe Tests and Confirms BMFL 1700W Lamp Life Expectancy at 750 Hours
ROZNOV pod RADHOSTEM, Czech Republic – Robe Lighting’s R&D department has tested the longevity of the Osram Lok-it HTI 1700/PS lightsource used in Robe’s BMFL fixtures. Robe found that, when run consistently in its brightest 1700 W mode, the lamp life expectancy is the same as when the fixture is run in 1200W and 1500W modes – 750 hours.

LightConverse/HES Lighting Challenge Contest Deadline is March 31, 2015
KIEV, Ukraine and AUSTIN, TX – The deadline for the LightConverse/High End Systems Lighting Challenge, which has been underway since late 2014, is March 31, 2015. Registered LightConverse users can come up with whatever design they choose, but shows must be programmed on a HOG console or using Hog PC software (which is available free of charge). The contest winners will be announced at Prolight + Sound, held from April 15-18, 2015 in Frankfurt, Germany.

NASHVILLE – While there were talks of a winter storm brewing for Nashville, the city was all about bikinis and beach music as Sports Illustrated chose Music City to launch the 2015 Swimsuit Edition. The Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau hosted the event, and LD John Lucksinger teamed up with production manager Chris Lisle on the visual design.
