LOS ANGELES — Close to 150 Robe moving lights, including 52 of the company’s new BMFL Spot fixtures, were included in LD Tom Kenny’s lighting design for the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, which were staged Aug. 10 at the Shrine Auditorium here. Kenny was the first LD to use the new BMFL Spot fixture in the U.S.

NASHVILLE – For Miranda Lambert’s Platinum tour, in support of the artist’s latest album release, LD Chris Lisle specified a Bandit Lites-supplied rig that includes fixtures from Vari-Lite (VL3500 Washes), Martin (MAC Vipers) and Chauvet (Legend Beams and Nexus 7x7s) to complement the visual centerpiece, a 50-by-30 foot (WxH) picture frame/video screen element. Lisle built the Nexus panels into an “M” shaped thrust downstage that gave a little extra bonus in the form of eye-candy for those seated farther from the stage.
