The Halberg Awards is the most prestigious event in New Zealand that celebrates the country’s sporting excellence. The 2022 extravaganza was staged at the Spark Arena in Auckland, this time with a reduced live audience of 100 seated guests (usually 1,000), a measure applied late-on as the country went to a Covid ‘red alert’ level. The separate 20 Pilot Max drivers were pre-addressed and made it very easy for the installers to program the lighting scenes. Lighting Designer, Crt Birsa can’t translate the power of Popevka into words, but he did a brilliant job conveying it in light recently when he lit a TV program of that name using his ChamSys MagicQ MQ80 and a PC Wing, despite having to balance time and deadline issues.Read More »ChamSys Helps Crt Birsa Balance Demands Lighting Popevka Song Competition
