From Rock to Opera at Saaremaa 2024

Kuressaare Castle on the island of Saaremaa, Estonia, provided a magical backdrop and a beautiful setting for the 2024 Saaremaa Opera Festival. This year’s host company, Fundació Òpera Catalunya (The Catalan Opera) from Spain produced a week of special back-to-back opera shows and related events, with lighting equipment and crew supplied by Tallinn-based rental specialist E&T, comprising almost all Robe luminaires.

Shakespeare Theatre Gdansk Invests in Robe T1 Profiles

The Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre (Gdański Teatr Szekspirowski) is a Shakespearean theatre in the middle of the thriving industrial port city of Gdansk in Poland. Designed by Italian architect Renato Rizzi, it opened in 2014 and is built on the site of a 17th-century theatre, known as the Fencing School, where English travelling players once performed English Renaissance Theatre works.

Claypaky Skylos Make Romanian Debut at ‘Beach, Please!’ Music Festival

In just three years, Constanta, Romania’s Beach Please has become the largest urban music festival in Europe drawing hip hop, pop, and electronic headliners. The 2024 show featured a lighting rig comprising 430 moving light fixtures. To match the colossal scale of the production, Stage and Lighting Designer Andrei Predut of APart Productions brought in 36 Claypaky Skylos.

Robe at Lollapalooza Berlin 2024

Over 500 Robe moving lights were supplied by three top German rental and technical production companies to four main stages at the 2024 Lollapalooza Berlin festival, organized by Live Nation and staged over two days at the Olympiastadion (Olympic Stadium). The North and South stages, the Alternative Stage and Perry’s Stage all rocked Robe this year supplied by TSE (North), the Media Resource Group – MRG (South & Perry’s) and Sound Projekt (Alternative).

IPS Sets Mood at The Day of the Jackal Premiere with CHAUVET Professional REM 3IP Panels

The team at Milton Keynes-based Impact Productions Services (IPS) set up the production for the London Premiere of the reimagined classic at Queen Elizabeth Hall at the Southbank Centre. Everything went according to plan for them as they put up the lighting rig and video wall for this Limited Edition Event Design project, which was designed by Richard Godin. Helping to ensure smooth sailing for the event were REM 3IP LED Screen panels from CHAUVET Professional installed on the premier’s two screen structures.

Scene Change Sydney has significantly broadened its production capabilities by acquiring 150 sqm of ROE Visual’s Topaz-Curve and Topaz panels, becoming the first in Australia to invest in TP-C. This latest investment enhances Scene Change’s ability to deliver seamless, visually impactful, and effortlessly managed productions.
