Rita Hits the Road Again with Robe

ISRAEL – Iranian born Israeli singer, songwriter and superstar Rita Yahan-Farouz is back on the road after a break of five years, complete with a new album, “Transparent Miracles”, and a fabulous new lighting and visual design by Ronen Najar, featuring Robe Spiiders and BMFL Spot moving lights. Rita is one of the best known and loved contemporary singers in Israel. Her tour cycle is scheduled to last around three years and she will take her unique blend of pop, rock and dance, some of it laced with Persian influence – to her hordes of fans.

GLP Fixtures Light Nena TV Special Marking 40-Year Career Milestone

HAMBURG, Germany – A concert featured on Germany’s ZDF honored “99 Luftballons” singer Nena on her 40-year career milestone with a show staged at Hamburg’s Mehr! Theatre on Sept. 22. The special featured a set by Jürgen Hassler and lighting design by Manuel da Costa along with a parade of celebrity well-wishers. The rig included GLP impression X4’s and X4 Bar 20’s along with 44 of the company’s recently-launched JDC1 hybrid strobes.

Robe for Rolling Stones No Filter

PARIS – Thirty-Six Robe BMFL Spots were workhorse moving lights on the recent Rolling Stones ‘No Filter’ European tour, part of a spectacular and epic lighting design created by Patrick Woodroffe. Patrick and associate designer Terry Cook of Woodroffe Bassett design (WBD) worked closely with stage architects Stufish on developing the show’s overall aesthetic.
