Frankfurt set the stage for UEFA EURO 2024’s four weeks of international football fever with a spectacular multimedia show. One of the city’s notable bridges, covered in the colors of the 24 participating nations for the duration of the European Championship, became the centerpiece of the football world. Ben Gilbert Uses CHAUVET Professional Fixtures to Reflect Many Moods of LANY on Tour

LD Ben Gilbert was called upon to light the 31 city North American leg of LANY’s ‘Beautiful Blur’ tour in support of their fifth album. Not endowed with a great deal of time to do their thing, Gilbert and his team came up with a gem of a design that used a curved truss configuration to engage audience by changing the depth and shape perceptions of the stage and its runway.

Hippotizer at Core of Immersive Installation at Bieszczady Cultural Heritage Center

Sixty million pixels of content is being driven to 18 HD projectors and three LED screens as part of an immersive installation at Poland’s Bieszczady Cultural Heritage Center, with tvONE’s Green Hippo Hippotizer Boreal+ MK2 Media Servers at the core of the visuals. More than 200GB of animated graphics are being handled by the Boreal+ MK2s in a show designed to educate, inform and entertain.

He wanted to modernize and unify under one fixture type his previously mixed rig, so he took advantage of White Light’s generous stock of Perseo Profiles, having enjoyed using them on previous designs.

Over 500 Guests Celebrate Light, Learning, and Good Times at LTT Workshop

 The numbers speak for themselves.  Over 5,700 kilometers traveled, 14 cities visited, 500 visitors participating, and 222 very large mouthwatering pizzas ordered.  They paint an impressive picture of the 2024 LTT Free Lighting Workshops. As remarkable as they are, however, these figures tell only part of the story. Of more lasting value are the knowledge gained, connections formed, and new horizons explored at this series of dynamic events.

The ADB by Claypaky Orkis Cyc recently received an award from SoundLightUp (SLU), which specializes in entertainment lighting and audio. The SLU Prix de L’innovation, launched at the end of 2022, is awarded to R&D teams for innovations such as new effects, cooling technology, design details or software.
