NW Group is New Zealand’s largest live event technology and full production – lighting, audio, and video – specialist in New Zealand, where it’s represented by the Oceania and Spyglass brands with bases in Auckland and Wellington on the North Island. The company has recently invested in 24 new Robe Spiider LED wash beams which are added to their 56 x Robe BMFLs (32 Spots and 24 Blades), delivered via distributor, Jands New Zealand.

Frankfurt set the stage for UEFA EURO 2024’s four weeks of international football fever with a spectacular multimedia show. One of the city’s notable bridges, covered in the colors of the 24 participating nations for the duration of the European Championship, became the centerpiece of the football world. Lighting Designer Thomas Giegerich from bright! used Elation’s lighting solutions to visually bring the concept to life.

LD Ben Gilbert was called upon to light the 31 city North American leg of LANY’s ‘Beautiful Blur’ tour in support of their fifth album. Not endowed with a great deal of time to do their thing, Gilbert and his team came up with a gem of a design that used a curved truss configuration to engage audience by changing the depth and shape perceptions of the stage and its runway.

Hippotizer at Core of Immersive Installation at Bieszczady Cultural Heritage Center

Sixty million pixels of content is being driven to 18 HD projectors and three LED screens as part of an immersive installation at Poland’s Bieszczady Cultural Heritage Center, with tvONE’s Green Hippo Hippotizer Boreal+ MK2 Media Servers at the core of the visuals. More than 200GB of animated graphics are being handled by the Boreal+ MK2s in a show designed to educate, inform and entertain.
