Maestra London Invests in Lighting and Video

LONDON — Event design and technical production company Maestra Group has made some substantial new investments at its London branch for lighting, audio and video ahead of a busy summer season. This follows a round of recent purchases by Maestra Dubai. The company added Robe, ETC, Avolites, Prolyte, ChamSys control, d&b audio, Christie, Sony and Analog Way gear to its inventory.

Elite Event Technology Gets Wired with TMB

CANBERRA, Australia – Elite Event Technology recently added a pallet of TMB ProCable multicores, adding just under 700 meters to their inventory and bringing their TMB cable total to “around 10 kilometres worth,” said Darren Russell, Elite Event Technology’s Managing Director, pictured here. “We’ve invested in a mixture of TMB ProPlex DMX and Ethernet cabling, ProCable multicable assemblies with Socapex connectors, and headers, patch panels, and tails.”

SINGAPORE – The first rental and technical production company in Singapore – and indeed south east Asia –  to invest in Robe’s new Spiider LED wash beam fixtures is Expo AV-InSync which works locally and internationally throughout the Asia Pacific region including Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, etc.. Currently they have upwards of 200 Robe fixtures in the lighting inventory. When the Spiider was launched last year, it was perfect timing as they were looking for new LED wash lights and loved the Robe LEDWash 600+s that they already own.

The band combine their hi-energy, in-the-face mix of gritty pop punk rock with a relentlessly busy touring schedule and are renowned for their live performance.

Claypaky Provides Heavenly Theatrical Lighting To Wroclaw’s Closing Capital Of Culture Production “Niebo”

WROCLAW, POLAND – Nearly 100 Claypaky fixtures illuminated the interior of UNESCO world heritage site, the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw, Poland, for its live production of large-scale theatrical performance ‘Niebo’ as part of the closing celebrations of the city’s year-long status as European Capital of Culture 2016. Creative producer and multimedia lighting designer for Niebo was Pawal ‘Spider’ Pająk, founder of Polish production design company Fish Eye. Spider specified a number of Claypkay Mythos, Sharpy and A.leda B-EYE K20 fixtures from Polish rental outfit TRANSCOLOR to craft the production’s vast spot, beam and wash effects.
