Reply SpA Stages IT Event in London with Assist from Maestra

LONDON – Event production specialist Maestra London worked with set and staging company Firecracker to support ‘Reply Exchange,’ a one-day conference sponsored by Italian IT giants Reply SpA. Gruppo Peroni staged the event and Toria Richardson was the event’s producer. The event was held in London’s 155 Bishopsgate venue. Along with a large conference space, attendees met in three breakout areas and at an exhibition section.

LONDON – Bruno Poet has turned to GLP’s impression X4 Bars for concerts featuring Icelandic cult band Sigur Rós and other live events, including Brian Friel’s play, “Faith Healer,” at Donmar Warehouse in London. He was introduced to the fixtures by White Light’s Dave Isherwood, and used 16 for “Faith Healer” and 18 for Sigur Rós.

Matrixx at the Park Music Festival in the Netherlands Features Martin Stage Lighting

NIJMEGEN, The Netherlands —Sound and lighting provider Focus Amsterdam used Martin MAC Axiom Hybrid fixtures (pictured here) and Atomic strobes at Matrixx at the Park, a seven-day (July 16-22) music festival held in conjunction with the annual International Four Days Marches Nijmegen (July 19-22). The Four Day March invites crowds to gather for a leisurely multi-day walk along a scenic byway. Participants get a medal upon completion of the journey. For the 2016 event, the 100th year for this event, 42,557 participaed. To mark this milestone, the stage at Matrixx at the Park was decorated with a collage of Nijmegen’s most famous landmarks.

Light Sculpture at MIRA Festival in Berlin Uses Robe Fixtures

BERLIN – The MIRA digital arts festival, held June 11 at the Funkhaus Berlin, focused on both electronic music and live visuals, and the creative lighting designs on display included the use of Robe fixtures. For the large scale sound and lighting sculpture, “Hyperjump,” featuring the work of Russia-based LDs Alexandr Letcius and Alexandr Sinitsa, the setup included 34 Pointes and 10 Robe Strobes.

Chris Brown Tours U.K., Europe with Kinesys Automation System

DUBLIN – Chris Brown’s recent “One Hell of a Nite” UK and European tour featured a production design by Tom E. Marzullo from Out Of Our Minds Creative Services, LLC, developed in collaboration with Robert Achlimbari from staging specialist All Access. The design included two lighting pods which were moved using a Kinesys automation system supplied by HSL from Blackburn UK, also the tour’s lighting and rigging vendors.

BLACKBURN, U.K. – HSL supplied lighting and rigging to Earth Wind and Fire’s recent UK and European tour which included a closing headline slot on the West Holts Stage at Glastonbury 2016 as the second show. Lighting was designed by Merle McLain who has worked with the band for 23 years.
