Serious Stages Awarded Three Year Contract Extension with Forest Live

BRISTOL, U.K. — Established in 2001, Forest Live is an independent concert series, promoted by the U.K.’s Forestry Commission. Hosted within seven forest locations, which include Westonbirt Arboretum, Thetford Forest, Dalby Forest and Mansfield Sherwood Pines Forest Park. Serious Stages has been awarded an extended three-year contract to supply staging and ancillary structures to Forest Live. Colour Sound Shines at U.K.’s Barn on the Farm Festival

GLOUCESTER, U.K. – Colour Sound Experiment supplied lighting equipment to creative visual design specialist Mirrad for three stages at the 2016 Barn on the Farm festival, staged in the Over Farm just outside Gloucester. The seventh Barn on the Farm was headlined by Oh Wonder and Jack Garrett and this year the Main Stage was ensconced in a brand new cattle shelter for the first time.

120-Hour Soccer Match Beats Guinness World Record; Related Staged Event Lit with Clay Paky Fixtures

SANTIAGO, Chile – On May 22, 2,357 soccer players (most of them amateurs) played a match that lasted 120 hours, a feat topping the official Guinness record of 105 continuous hours that had been set last year in Scotland. (The new record, at presstime, had not yet been confirmed by Guinness officials). The teams were reportedly divided into “blue” and “white” teams, with white beating blue by a score of 505 to 504. A staged performance, lit with Clay Paky gear, took place at he Bicentenario de la Florida stadium in Santiago as well. Real Audio Sistemas supported the production needs for that show.

Clay Paky takes the field at the UEFA Champions Festival 2016

ITALY – The Champions League final in Milan was not just a sporting event for soccer fans. During the UEFA Champions Festival 2016, from 26 to 29 May, there was a whole host of entertainment, including meetings, exhibitions, shows and events. There was everything you can imagine before the final kick-off at San Siro.  The Opening Ceremony took place on the evening of 26 May with a gala event in which some great past champions also took part. During the Champions Festival evening shows, Clay Paky took the field with its lights: 28 Alpha Beam 300s and 15 Alpha Spot HPE 700s.
