Lamb Performs at Convergence Sessions Festival in U.K., Lit with Philips Showline SL Hydrus 350

LONDON — The latest addition to the Philips Showline product range, the SL Hydrus 350, made its pre-launch debut at electronic duo Lamb’s concert during the Convergence Sessions festival. The festival ran from March 13 to 19 March at venues across London including the Roundhouse and art deco Troxy. Now in its third year, Convergence spans different genres of music and celebrates visual artists and pioneering technology. Lighting designer Mark Wynn-Edwards, who has worked with the band for nearly two years, specified 11 of the brand new moving lights to add super bright beam effects to his stripped back design.

LSC Makes Plans for 2016 Prolight + Sound Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany

FRANKFURT, Germany – LSC Lighting Systems will be exhibiting at the 2016 Prolight + Sound exhibition on booth C66 in Hall 3.0 level 0. The company is enhancing its Mantra Lite console with new software to be released at the show, and as a complement to the Mantra Lite, a new Mantra Wing will be previewed. Due for release in June, the wing adds an additional 12 fixture faders and 10 further playbacks as well as an extra DMX 512 Universe hardware output.

Clay Paky Scenius makes its Australian Debut at CMC Music Awards 2016 in Brisbane

BRISBANE, Australia – The CMC Music Awards 2016 were held at the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC), with some of the biggest names in country music including superstars Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line, Australia’s own Adam Harvey, and rising country star Kelsea Ballerini taking to the stage to perform. Mandylights were responsible for the production design, production management, stage management, lighting design and operation. Lighting gear came from Crystal Productions, Resolution X and Mandylights themselves. The event was the first time Scenius, Clay Paky’s moving head spotlight, was used in Australia as Crystal Productions had received fourteen a few days prior.
