2015 Amsterdam Music Festival Features Top EDM Acts, Robe Gear

AMSTERDAM – For the 2015 Amsterdam Music Festival (AMF), a two-day event featureing Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Hardwell, Tiesto, Alesso, Martin Garrix and other EDM artists, André Beekmans of The Art of Light used a variety of Robe fixtures including 101 BMFL Spots, 94 Pointes, 180 LEDBeam 100s and seven BMFL Blades. The AMF event at the Amsterdam Arena capped the five day annual Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) which featured with 350 individual sub-events across 80 venues and clubs in the city from Oct 14 to 18, 2015.

In Memoriam: Nathalie Jardin, 31

PARIS — Nathalie Jardin, 31, died Nov. 13, one of the victims of the terrorist attack at the Bataclan performance venue in Paris. Jardin, who had worked as a lighting and stage manager at the venue for the last three years, also served as LD for bands including Les Fatals Picards, Les Nuits Secrètes and Marcel and His Orchestra.

AUSTRIA – This year was the sixth Lake Festival, the biggest EDM event in Austria. More than one hundred artists performed on five different stages, including Avicii, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Alesso and Tiësto. Thirty six Clay Paky Sharpys, 34 Clay Paky Mythos units, 1 grandMA2 full-size e 1 grandMA2 light were used (along with other equipment) at the festival, which took place at Unterpremstätten on Schwarzl Lake.
