HOUSTON — Current RMS, cloud-based rental management software designed for rental businesses in the AV, Production and Events sectors, was launched in Sept. 2014.  To mark its first year, the company has updated its website and is now offering a new Resources Module.

BRISTOL, U.K. – For Arcadia’s Metamorphosis, Colour Sound Experiment lit the 12-meter-high three-legged spider built out of industrial scrap metal. Some upgrades to the lighting kit were made since the last Arcadia spider performance at Glastonbury this year, including new SGM XC-5 LED strobe units and adding lighting fixtures to six PA towers erected for the surround sound system in Queen Square.

LONDON  – Singer songwriter Charli XCX has publically stated that she experiences sound-to-color synaesthesia and ‘sees’ music in colors … so it was not a complete surprise to show designer Rob Sinclair and lighting designer Greg Hill when she requested colored smoke for her current tour. Prominent smoke is also in tune with the ‘horror prom’ theme of the current live show. 

BRISTOL UK – Bristol based technical solutions company Fineline provided lighting for four main music performance areas at the 2015 Somersault festival, a  five day extravaganza of music, fun, food, discussion, debate and outdoor adventure located in the heart of South West England, in the picturesque environs of Castle Hill country estate near the north Devon coastline.

ASTANA, Kazakhstan – Working for Italian production company Balich WS, Belgian based WIcreations was asked to engineer and fabricate the large, elegant and stylish ‘Cup of Hospitality’ for Kazakhstan’s recent 550^th anniversary celebration show in the capital Astana.

LOS ANGELES – UV/FX, the long time LA Based UV scenic design and production specialists have designed and created a cool new 30’ x 40’ UV Dual Image Backdrop for the Finnish Band Nightwish’s summer tour. Like most of the UV/FX scenic pieces, this backdrop has one look under normal light and completely changes to an underwater scene under UV lighting to the crowds delight.
