U.K. – The incredible Arcadia Spectacular stage pumped out some serious visuals at Glastonbury this year created and controlled by blinkinLAB’s Tom Wall using an Avolites Sapphire Media and Ai server.

PILTON, UK — Created by Joe Rush’s Mutoid Waste Company, two artworks, Peace Time Flies and Pagan Crown, provided visual inspiration for the music-loving crowds drawn to the Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid and Other stages in late June. The artworks, depicting a large metallic winged clock and a horn-bedecked pagan headdress surrounding a giant pearl, respectively, were bathed in hues from an assortment of Chauvet Professional and Iluminarc LED fixtures.

U.K. – Avolites Tiger Touch II consoles and Ai media servers were the perfect partners for The Charlatans, as they performed at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl for Summer in the City.

LONDON – XL Video continues its relationship with the Nordoff Robbins music therapy charity, sponsoring the Artist Films for the O2 Silver Clef Awards for the third consecutive year, and by supplying the live video production and technology for the 2015 awards event.

AUCKLAND, NZ – Entertainment Lighting Solutions upgraded the lighting array in Auckland Town Hall’s Concert Chamber with ETC Sensor3s.

Europe – Clay Paky’s award-winning hybrid fixture, the Mythos, has joined Brandon Flowers on his European tour, with lighting designer Steven Douglas making full use of its multi-functionality for the majority of the show’s stunning looks.

AZERBAIJAN – Over 670 Clay Paky fixtures amazed two sold-out audiences of 68,000 at the first European Games Opening and Closing Ceremonies, held June 12 and 28 at the Olympic Stadium in Baku, Azerbaijan.

LEIDEN, The Netherlands – Gebr. De Nobel live performance venue received a complete Robe moving light array supplied and installed by Controllux.

Niclas Arvidsson, CEO of Wireless Solution recently caught up with Francisco Yañez Valdivia, Product Manager for VALOOK to hear about two hugely successful temporary installations using W-DMX on the Costanera Center Tower in Santiago, one of the highest towers in South America.

PILTON, U.K. – Florence + the Machine’s “infectious enthusiasm” at Glastonbury 2015 was enhanced by an elegant stage set with powerful, tasty lighting by Lighting Designer Rob Sinclair.  To complement Florence’s dramatic and eccentric music (how many rock bands have a harp and vibes?), Sinclair combined new and traditional technology in unique ways to reinforce Florence’s grandiose performance on the festival’s celebrated Pyramid Stage.
