LONDON — White Light, based here, has added SGM’s IP65-rated LED G-Spot fixtures to its inventory. The fixtures, which make use of an 850W RGBY LED light source, were used an event for a legal consortium at Westminster Abbey and Horse Guards Parade Ground, pictured here. The G-Spots join other SGM fixtures in White Light’s inventory, including the P-5 washlights acquired by White Light last year.

LONDON — When London’s Royal Court Theatre (RCT) sought to upgrade their existing lighting stock they turned to White Light for more than 50 of ETC’s Source Four LED Series 2 Profile fixtures across two venue spaces. LDs Peter Mumford and James Farncombe were the first to make use of the new energy-efficient fixtures. “Now is the right time to invest in LED,” noted Jack Williams, RCT’s head of lighting. MEXICO CITY — The lighting crew for Ricky Martin’s latest tour are making good use of the pixel-mapping capabilities of Chauvet Professional’s Nexus 4×4 and Next NXT-1 panel fixtures. The Nexus panels are arrayed in various-sized wall configurations upstage; the Next NXT-1 panels are used with the geometric overhead truss.

LONDON — LD Nick Gray of Renegade provided five different lighting designs for five distinctive architectural spaces during the most recent London Fashion Week (SS15), held Sept. 12-16. He used gear provided by Neg Earth, Panalux and White Light. For the Anja Hindmarch show, pictured here, Gray used Martin MAC Viper Wash DX fixtures fitted with UV filters.

READING and LEEDS, U.K. — U.K.-based indie rockers The Courteeners headlined the NME and Radio One stages for this year’s Reading and Leeds Festivals. Their LD, Dan Hill, specified a rig of Robe moving lights for the band, performing in support of their new studio album, Concrete Love. Siyan provided the gear for both events.

EDINBURGH, Scotland — ETC’s recently-introduced Nomad Puck — a tiny, self-contained computer that takes the place of either an Eos-family or Cobalt-family lighting desk — was put through its paces at the Edinburgh Festival here.

MACAU, China – David McKinney, head of Harman China Operations, noted that the recent upgrade to the wedding banquet hall at Macau Tower here included a variety of Martin lighting equipment, including Martin MAC 350 Entour LED fixtures, MAC Auras, Rush PAR 2 RGBW Zoom cans, an M2GOTM lighting console and an iOS MAXRemote.
