PROLIGHTS Mosaico range turns Sondrio into a captivating Forest of Lights 

Sondrio has been transformed into an enchanting Christmas landscape with a mesmerizing light show, made possible by the PROLIGHTS Mosaico range image projectors. The project, managed by the communication agency Sviluppo Creativo and the rental company Liteo Tech, turned Campello square into a captivating snowy setting with projections of the Enchanted Forest, created using the PROLIGHTS Mosaico and Mosaico L projectors.

Slovenian indie rockers Joker Out are the hottest musical act of the moment in this lively, beautiful, and dynamic European country. Two theater lighting designers, Paule Constable and Tim Lutkin, have both become early adopters of GLP’s new impression X5 platform—believing the powerful fixture to be a perfect solution for theatre designers, and setting the standard as a new generation for wash lights. It is with great sadness that The Association for Lighting Production and Design (The ALPD) heard the news that its Co-Founder and President, passed away. Richard Pilbrow, esteemed Member No. 1, had been the association’s President for many years. A distinguished lighting designer, producer, and writer, he was a hugely respected consultant for the construction of new performing arts. Vectorworks, Inc. Unveils 2023 Design Scholarship Winners, Selects Brenda Vaca Michan as Richard Diehl Winner

Global design and BIM software provider Vectorworks, Inc. has revealed the winners of this year’s Vectorworks Design Scholarship, naming Brenda Vaca Michan as the Richard Diehl Award winner. With over 1,000 submissions, scholarships were awarded to 21 students for 18 projects in the architecture, interior design, landscape and entertainment industries. The winning Richard Diehl submission Venus by Vaca Michan is a lighting design project for the play written by Suzan-Lori Parks that’s set in the 19th-century and directed by Mike Payette at the National Theater School of Canada.
