The Voice van Vlaanderan (The Voice of Flanders) Lit with Robe Gear

BELGIUM – For the live finals of the Voice van Vlaanderen (The Voice of Flanders), Show Designer Ignace D’Haese’s lihting rig incorporated 30 x Pointes, 21 x LEDWash 1200s, 22 x LEDWash 800s, 12 x LEDWash 600s and 15 x LEDWash 300s from Robe. The design was based on giving the show an epic ‘live arena’ aesthetic while also being flexible and adaptable to deal with the myriad of different musical genres performed throughout the 10 weeks. While the show naturally had to look great on TV, it also had to look spectacular for the 3000 Voice fans who packed into the stadium each week to cheer on their favorites.

X-Factor in the Czech & Slovak Republics Lit with Robe Fixtures

LD Felipe Ramos Uses Robe Pointes for “Mars Cabaret” in Madrid

MADRID, Spain — For A Marte Cabaret (A Mars Cabaret), a cabaret-styled production with a space age twist, LD Felipe Ramos’ lighting rig is centered on 12 Robe Pointe fixtures at its core, provided by ASL Light Solutions. Working with set designer Sánchez Cuerda, whose design includes a large female robot, Ramos also designed the show’s video elements which include both LED screens and projection.

Kinesys Announces Automation Sales in Taipei, Seoul

LONDON — Kinesys, based here, announced two major sales and technical partnerships in Asia. Taipei, Taiwan-based Aurora bought an Elevation 1+ system for use with their CM Varistar hoists and beam trolleys. They also have Kinesys Rigger Remote handsets for local control of the Elevations and a Kinesys Array PD-ES for power distribution. Colour of Light, based in Seoul, South Korea, purchased 24 channels of Elevation 1+ drives with Kinesys Libra load cell integration and monitoring using the LibraCELL and LibraPRO products.
