This year marks the fifth year for the First Night Riders charity motorbike tour which raises money for The Theatrical Guild. Established in 1891, TTG is dedicated to looking after theatre personnel who, due to a variety of circumstances, need educational sponsorship, counselling, or welfare advice, in order for them to regain employment in the theatre industry. This year’s tour takes place June 20-23.

After a six year renovation, Munich’s Deutsches Theater now combines Old World splendor with state-of-the-art technology. An important part of that technology is the new lighting system combining ClayPaky lights and grandMA2 controller.

CAIRO – Two of the biggest musical draws in the Middle East brought a big crowd to 100,000-capacity International Stadium late last year. The concert was staged to celebrate the 15^th anniversary of Hong Kong-based fashion and wellness company, QNet, which operates in Egypt. Walid el Hariry of AmazonEgypt (Egypt1) served as LD. Audio Technology, the Clay Paky distributor in Egypt, supplied el Hariry’s rental house with the Clay Paky equipment.

BIRMINGHAM, U.K. — S+H Technical, based in Devon, U.K., provided scenic elements for the 2014 Crufts Dog Show, including the Crufts sign along with RGB LED starcloth for the event’s main show ring. The dog show was held at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC).
