Clay Paky Lights Gianna Nannini’s European Tour

EUROPE – “Latin Lover”, “Fotoromanza”, “Bello e impossibile” and “I maschi” are just a few of her greatest hits. We are of course talking about the Italian rock singer-songwriter Gianna Nannini, who is currently touring Europe on her “INNO” tour 2013. Lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe and lighting director Roland Greil chose Clay Paky lights and MA Lighting control systems for the tour.

Clay Paky And The “Adoro” Music Project

GERMANY – Music producer Andy Lutschounig created his “Adoro” classical-pop crossover project in 2007, when he chose five young opera singers from among 200 applicants. Adoro’s music combines elements of opera with German pop songs and a large symphony orchestra, as could be appreciated at their recent performance at the Lausitzhalle in Hoyerswerda. Atlantis Audio provided the concert lighting equipment, which consisted of 22 Clay Paky Sharpys, 24 Clay Paky Alpha Spot QWO 800 STs and other lights.

Fat Freddy’s Drop Tours U.K. with Entec Support

WEST LONDON — Entec supplied lighting and sound gear and crew for two major gigs at Brixton and Bristol on the recent U.K. tour for New Zealand band, Fat Freddy’s Drop. The band – known for their improvised live performances which embrace multiple styles including dub, reggae, soul, jazz, blues and techno – returned to Entec to supply all their production needs following a previous one-off at Brixton Academy in 2011.

SYDNEY — The International Fleet Review, which commemorated the arrival of the original Royal Australian Navy fleet in Sydney Harbour a century ago, involved close to 40 warships, 16 tall ships, more than 60 aircraft, 10 military bands, and 8,000 sailors from 17 nations around the world. An AV/comms network from Riedel helped keep the lines of digital communication running smoothly.
