UEP Makes A Pointe with New Investments for Chilfest

TRING, UK – Rental specialist Universal Event Productions (UEP) has invested in 12 of Robe’s new Pointe moving lights together with another 10 square meters of Glux-12 LED screen. The Pointes will debut on the two-day 2013 Chilfest music festival staged July 5-6 in Tring. The production design will also feature 60 square meters of Glux, which UEP first had designed and built last year.

LONDON – London-based rental company Entec Sound & Light supplied lighting, rigging and crew for Paloma Faith’s recent high profile one-off show at London’s O2 Arena, preceded by warm ups at Liverpool Empire and Bournemouth BIC. Entec again worked with LD Tony Austin and the production team led by Tour Manager Neil Brighouse. Entec’s Noreen O’Riordan and Adam Stevenson project managed the one-off.

LONDON – Contemporary circus troupe, No Fit State, recently welcomed the latest performing member to its troupe: The Avolites Tiger Touch. The design, originally conceived by LD Adam Cobley, is taken care of on tour by lighting director and programmer Leif Le Page, who says that fast, on the fly access to the lighting is crucial for this latest production of “Bianco.”
