They were provided from the new office, SGM Sweden, headed by Mikael Uddh. “Because we were often visiting clubs with limited access to power, the X-5, with its low power draw when compared with the traditional energy hungry xenon sources, became a natural choice,” he says.

SUTTHAUSEN, Germany – Robe CitySkape 48 and CitySource 96 and Anolis Inground 12 RGB LED fixtures illuminate a collection of art and sculptural works in an event called Iktomia. The art installation includes a garden, a gallery, an event location and the renovated old Railway Station in Sutthausen near Osnabrück, Germany. It was part of the artist’s master design plan that Iktomia should come alive after dark as well as being appreciated during the daylight hours, and so he approached German distribution company LMP to help specify the appropriate fixtures for the lighting design.

MELBOURNE – A cast of Vari-Lite-VLX Wash luminaires have been installed as part of a AUD$136 million ($143 million USD) revamp of Melbourne’s Hamer Hall theatre. The technical team chose the VLX Wash luminaires following a shoot-out between the Vari-Lite fixtures and other brands.The fixture’s ability to color match with conventional luminaires was a key factor in the decision.
