SINGAPORE – Singapore’s School of the Arts (SOTA) recently selected 10 Alpha Spot HPE 700 and 11 Alpha Wash 700s to illuminate three performance halls run by students studying the creative arts. The equipment was installed by regional lighting and staging specialists Desisti Asia Pte Ltd.

Robe in the Ring of Moscow’s M1 Global Challenge

MOSCOW – Robe moving lights added highlights to the heavyweight bout at Moscow’s M1 Global MMA (mixed martial arts) Challenge. Headliners Fedor ‘The Last Emperor’ Emelianenko and Jeff ‘The Snowman’ Monson entertained a crowd of 15,000  – including Russian’s Prime Minister Vladimir Putin – and was televised live. Rental company TOK in northwest Russia supplied the technical production.

Robert Juliat Installed in Rotterdamse Schouwburg

ROTTERDAM, The Netherlands – The Rotterdamse Schouwburg’s stock of aging profiles were recently replaced with Robert Juliat zoom profiles with the purchase of 34 RJ 614SX 16°-35° fixtures from Netherlands distributor LightCo. Other theatres in Amsterdam and in Weert have also increased their inventory of Robert Juliat fixtures as well.

Robe MMX Spots Light Bryan Adams Tour

HIGH WYCOMBE, Buckinghamsire, UK – The current Bryan Adams tour is the first major one in the UK  to feature Robe lighting’s new ROBIN MMX Spots. LD Ewan McRobb specified 12 of the fixtures from tour lighting contractor Siyan. McRobb needed fixtures that could hold their own against the light output from a large Stealth screen, which creates the main look of the stage.
