LONDON – Renegade's Nick Gray designed lighting for the main British Fashion Council (BFC) Tent and peripheral areas in and around Somerset House for London Fashion Week, along with off-site shows for the Matthew Williamson, Temperley, Julien Macdonald and Hardy Amies collections. His focus once again was to put the fashions on display in their best light – for both the human eye and the cameras.

PARIS – For a catwalk show featuring lingerie by Chantelle-Passionata at the Salon International de la Lingerie exhibition in Paris, LD Alex Junca specified Robe ROBIN LEDWash 600 moving lights. The three-day event was held at the Paris Expo, Port de Versailles, and Impact Evènement provided the gear.

MINSK, Belarus – PR Lighting fixtures were used at the inaugural Crossfield Festival, which drew a crowd of 8,000 to a soccer arena here. The event, promoted by All Stars Agency, featured DJ, ATB and German production duo Cosmic Gate (DJ Bossi and Nic Chagall).

MONTREAL and ABUJA, Nigeria – Weighing a total of 120,000 pounds, three Stageline mobile stages were flown earlier this month from Montreal to Abuja, Nigeria aboard an Antonov An-124, a Russia-made cargo aircraft that ranks as one of the largest in the world.

LONDON – Working on behalf of Upperstreet Events, HSL supplied lighting design, equipment and crew for four live stages at the 2011 Move It exhibition at London's Olympia conference center. The stages – Main, Freestyle, Arena and Flawless – were dotted all around Olympia. HSL project manager Dave Singleton creating the production lighting design.

GUADALAJARA, Mexico – Edson Rivera, lighting designer at Mega-Lite's Mexico distributor Adimsa, used Mega-Lite's RGB Color Ribbon for cove lighting at Casino Gran Nevada.

MELBOURNE, Australia – For the Australian leg of Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns tour, LD A.J. Pen used 41 Vari*Lite VLX Wash fixtures, supplemented with 12 Vari*Lite VL 3500 Wash fixtures.

MINSK, Belarus – The lighting rig for the new Minsk Arena, a 15,000-seat ice hockey arena also used as a concert hall, includes Robe gear specified by Robe's Belarus distributor Art Ramos. Part of a government contract, the main contractor, Belcultproject, supplied the products to the venue.

ROZNOV, Czech Republic – The City Club offers guests a coffee bar, a small casino and a restaurant as well as a nightclub designed by architect/interior designer Karel Janča, and the venue's owner, Pavel Zeď, who chose Robe gear for the dance floor area, decided to use Anolis gear for the surrounding area.

LIVERPOOL, U.K. – Adlib provided lighting gear and crew for Russell Howard's Right Here Right Now U.K. arena tour, led by production manager Neil McDonald and Russell's tour manager, Russell Young.

LONDON – Impact Production Services (IPS) recently supplied, installed and operated a lighting package that included Martin MAC 101 LED moving heads for the European premiere of the Justin Bieber film Never Say Never at the O2 Arena.
