ADB Lights New Theatre Complex in Abandoned Coal Mine

GENK, Belgium – C-Mine, a new $470 million cultural development on the site of an abandoned coal mine, offers visitors two flexible theatres, both of them with installed lighting rigs provided by ADB Lighting. ADB supplied a total of 275 luminaires and 564 ways of Eurorack dimming to the project, with the Eurorack 60 dimmer chosen for its quiet operation.

Third Season of Light Features Installations Using W-DMX, grandMA2

HELSINKI, Finland – The 3rd Season Of Light event relied upon W-DMX for one of the major installations. The event, organized by the City of Helsinki, showcased lighting designers Martin Kuhn of Germany, Per Sundin of Sweden and Tulay Schakir and Mikki Kunttu of Finland. Each created lighting installations for some of the main buildings around the city, which included the Esplandi Park Senate Square, Union Street, Kaisaniemi Park, Sanoma House, and Parliament House.

Madame Tussauds Adds Lady Gaga to Collection with Press Fanfare, LED Lighting

LONDON – Lady Gaga is now sharing the limelight with a waxen twins at Madame Tussauds attractions in London, Amsterdam, Berlin, New York, Hollywood, Las Vegas, Shanghai and Hong Kong. Architainment Lighting provided Madame Tussauds' show services manager, Simon Morris, with a new LED fixture, the PL1 from Philips Selecon, in time for the December press launch.
