STRATFORD-UPON-AVON, U.K. – Blackburn, U.K.-based HSL has again supplied site-wide lighting equipment, including gear from Avolites, i-Pix, Green Hippo, Martin Professional and Robe, among others, for the GlobalGathering dance festival, staged at Long Marston Airfield.

LONDON – The Lyttelton Theatre, one of three theatres at the Royal National Theatre, was equipped with hydraulic lifts about 30 years ago. But when The White Guard was staged earlier this year, the National's systems engineering team found themselves in a quandary. The show required that they synchronize all three lifts, and they quickly found that the existing system simply didn't have the required functionality.

ZURICH, Switzerland – The opera house in Zurich has been equipped with a new communications system from Riedel Communications. Riedel, a manufacturer of fiber, intercom, audio and radio technology, provided a system combining Artist digital matrix intercom and Performer partyline technology.

LONDON – White Light supplied lighting for the production of The Railway Children staged at London's abandoned Eurostar terminal in Waterloo. Adapted from the 1970 film and Edith Nesbit's original 1906 novel, the production featured a restored steam locomotive.

LONDON – DTS Titan LED wash lights are being used to illuminate several life-size animatronics at the London edition of Dinosaurs Unleashed – the UK's largest interactive dinosaur encounter – which recently opened at the Bournemouth International Centre (BIC).
