E/T/C London Projection Marks Cambridge 800 Finale

CAMBRIDGE, U.K. – Large-scale projections designed by Ross Ashton helped bring the year-long celebration for Cambridge University's 800th year to a close. Called Transforming Tomorrow, the light shows were projected onto Cambridge's Senate House and adjacent Old School, and also part of Kings College Chapel and the nearby Gibbs Building.

Besix Event Uses Compulite, Clay Paky Gear

BRUSSELS – Besix, a Belgian conglomerate, marked 100 years in business with a show designed by Luc Petit featuring some 70 dancers and acrobats. Tof Leuba, the show's programmer, used Compulite gear to control the Procon Belgium-supplied rig, which included an assortment of Clay Paky and Vari-Lite light fixture along with Robert Juliat followspots.

Anime Festival Asia Lights Up with Martin Gear

SINGAPORE – Anime Festival Asia 2009 (AFA09), a two-day festival for fans of Japanese animation and pop music, was held recently at Singapore's Suntec International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event featured Shoko Nagakawa, Yoshiki Fukuyama, Ichirou Mizuki and May'n and the crew relied upon gear from Martin Professional for lighting, video and control.
