WARWICK, U.K.— Square Box Systems, the U.K.-based company behind the CatDV media asset management (MAM) system, named Ryan Servant V.P. of business development in North America. Reporting to Dave Clack, CEO of Square Box Systems, Servant will work with JB&A, Square Box Systems’ North American distributor, to identify new opportunities and expand customer deployments in the region.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Following Group One Limited’s October announcement that it is now handling US distribution for Designed To Shine (DTS) Lighting, the distributor has officially named Tyler Wise as the brand’s national sales manager. The announcement comes from Jack Kelly, Group One president. Wise will dually continue to serve—as the national sales manager for elektraLite, one of Group One’s other lighting brands as well.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Avolites’ US distributor, Group One Ltd., appointed RL Wilson & Associates to represent the lighting brand in the Southwestern U.S. The announcement comes from Avolites/Group One National Sales Manager Brad White, to whom the firm reports. The partners, who started their company two years ago, have a combined 50 years of industry experience. Di Bona was most recently technical director at the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove, NJ. Kepler spent more than 12 years as the lead audio engineer and lead project manager for Showorks Audio Visual.

OWATONNA, MN – Wenger Corporation acquired the assets of Secoa, Inc. of Champlin, MN. The company says the acquisition will expand the products and services now offered for the performing arts market by Wenger and its subsidiary J.R. Clancy.

BURBANK, CA – ARRI promoted Sebastien Laffoux to director of sales, camera systems. In this new role, Laffoux will oversee the camera sales team for North America with regional representatives based in Los Angeles, New York and Toronto. Laffoux reports to Glenn Kennel, president of ARRI Inc.

LERMA, Mexico – Chauvet named Carlos Zamora de Martino general manager of Chauvet Mexico. Prior to joining Chauvet’s Mexican operation, Zamora held senior executive positions at a number of global companies. He was also the co-founder and CEO of Geo Lite LED Lighting.  In his new position, he will be responsible for managing all facets of the Chauvet Professional, Chauvet DJ, Iluminarc and Trusst business in Mexico.

MUNICH — At the Electronica trade fair here, Harting and Arrow Electronics announced and expanded distribution agreement Nov. 10. Arrow Electronics, which has been a Harting distributor in North America for 22 years, will now distribute the company’s products in the EMEA and APAC regions as well.
