BOSTON MA – Available Light expanded its Boston studio with the hiring of Po-Yang Sung. Po-Yang is a Taiwanese native fresh from The University of Texas at Austin, where he received his MFA in Lighting Design. In school, he lit a variety of performance styles ranging from drama to dance to musical comedy. Prior to joining Available Light, Po-Yang served as Resident Lighting Designer at Michigan’s Thunder Bay Theatre Company.

SECAUCUS, NJ – Rose Brand expanded its Swag Decor drape and decor rentals locations into a fully staffed and stocked office and warehouse at 2203 NW 30th Place, Pompano Beach, FL 33069. The new office in South Florida and the existing Orlando office now make it even more convenient for the firm to service all Florida cities, including Miami, Orlando, Tampa, Naples, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Sarasota, and Jacksonville. 

DUBAI – Maestra Dubai has added two new key management personnel – Richard Kleinsmit, who will be looking after Operations and Patrick Maxwell who is in charge of the new Warehouse, with both an integral part of the team led by Managing Partner Tom Clements. The appointments happen simultaneously to the company’s move to new premises which more than doubles Maestra Dubai’s warehouse facility.

CHICAGO – GoVision announced that its nationwide expansion continues with the opening of a new office in Chicago. The office will be led by Rich McGill, an 18-year veteran of sales, sponsorships and digital media, who has joined the GoVision team as Regional Account Executive. McGill has worked with some of the largest brands in the world – including American Airlines, Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch and Gatorade – and brings extensive experience delivering digital marketing solutions to Division 1 universities throughout the Midwest.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Following Group One Limited’s October announcement that it is now handling US distribution for Designed To Shine (DTS) Lighting, the distributor has officially named Tyler Wise as the brand’s national sales manager. The announcement comes from Jack Kelly, Group One president. Wise will dually continue to serve—as the national sales manager for elektraLite, one of Group One’s other lighting brands as well.

The company will also hold a wider range of Philips Selecon LED fixtures, Strand Lighting control consoles and Showline effects lights.

DAVIE, FL – PTT of Florida, a leading provider of stagehand labor for live events, named Linda Hamburger marketing communications manager.
