UK —After years of forging a successful distribution partnership in North America, Hitachi Europe has appointed Stampede Europe to serve as a distributor of its full range of ProAV display products in the UK. Effective immediately, the new agreement includes Hitachi Europe’s line of interactive large format display panels and its range of 2,500 through to 13,000 ANSI Lumens projectors.

BREA, CA — 4Wall Entertainment Lighting, a national provider of stage and theatrical services, will acquire the assets of professional lighting, video, and staging provider Visions Lighting for an undisclosed sum. The current Visions Lighting headquarters in Brea, CA will be rebranded as 4Wall Orange County. 4Wall will also retain Visions’ staff, with Todd Roberts, who founded Visions Lighting in 1992, working as director of live events.

SOUTHFIELD, MI – ​Bluewater Technologies Group, Inc. announced that Josh Linkner has joined its Board of Directors. KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites noted the addition of lighting technicians Alex Becker and Jamie Sullivan to the company’s staff based at its headquarters location in Knoxville, TN. Becker and Sullivan are providing support by prepping sales installations, local touring shows and performing moving lights maintenance. They also cover all aspects of productions for events centering around the area.

SHELTON, CT — Lex Products named Leonard Miller vice president of sales. Miller comes to Lex Products after 12 years with Philips Entertainment’s Vari-Lite and Strand Lighting divisions. He has also served as a sales manager for Barbizon Lighting in Dallas and a regional manager for Kohler Rental Power Services. Prior to that, he worked for Paramount Pictures/Viacom, Walt Disney World, and a number of cruise ship lines. Leonard also serves on the board of directors as a member of the faculty of the non-profit Stagecraft Institute of Las Vegas (SILV) and has been a past Director at Large for USITT.

INDIANAPOLIS — Tway Lifting Products, founded in 1945, has been supplying its steel cables to other companies in the entertainment sector in recent years. This year, veteran rigger Albert West has been overseeing the company’s new push with a new line of products aimed at meeting the needs of entertainment production and rigging companies.
