NASHVILLE – Industry veteran Tom Stanziano is joining 4Wall Entertainment Lighting in the newly established role of Business Development Manager. Stanziano brings nearly 25 years of experience to 4Wall. He will be based in the 4Wall Nashville office while supporting the entire southeast region.

AMSTERDAM – Philips Lighting named Colin Kavanagh head of the company’s entertainment lighting business. Kavanagh, who holds dual Irish/U.S. citizenship, will relocate to Dallas, TX to oversee the company’s entertainment lighting division.

KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites named Kathy Tanner (pictured here) senior payroll adminsitrator and promoted Shay Simpson controller. Tanner comes to Bandit from the Oak Ridge Housing Authority, where she served as office manager. As controller, Simpson will oversee the company’s accounting operations.

LAS VEGAS, NV –  Morpheus Lights, the U.S distributor of Ayrton LED luminaires, named Pete Engel Ayrton product support specialist. Based at Morpheus’ Las Vegas headquarters, Engel will be responsible for national customer service and technical support of the award-winning Ayrton LED product line.

BRISTOL, U.K. – SLX named John Wallace managing director. Wallace will be based at SLX’s head office in Bristol, U.K. He will lead a team dedicated to servicing a wide range of customers within the theatre, broadcast and event markets.

BEAVERTON, OR — Biamp Systems named Craig Upton and Daniel Reed applications engineers and appointed Jemma Zlydneva as technical support specialist. The company also added online training webinars that include sessions in Arabic as well as the additional time zones for India and the Middle East.

YONKERS, NY – Altman Lighting is pleased to announce that Wade Williams has joined the Altman team in the role of Southern Regional Sales Manager. Wade will manage Altman Lighting sales in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Puerto Rico. 

LONDON – Creative Technology (CT) announces the acquisition of “The Wireless Works” a specialist event service business based in Godalming, UK, delivering radio communications, intercom and data services to the broadcast and live event markets.

MUNICH, Germany and SAINT-QUENTIN, France – Osram purchased ADB TTV SAS, also known as ADB Lighting Technologies, on Aug. 3, and will run the company going forward as part of its Clay Paky lighting subsidiary. ADB, founded in Belgium in 1920, ran as a family business until 1987 when it was acquired by the Siemens Group. Under Siemens, it expanded from a maker of digital dimmers, memory control systems and condenser optics for theatre spotlights and emerged as a broadline manufacturer with facilities in Belgium and France,and a sales unit in Germany. Christian Léonard, then General Manager of ADB-TTV France, led a management buyout in late 2002. The company is now based in Saint-Quentin, with R&D, Product Engineering, Marketing and International Sales still located in Belgium.

SYDNEY and AUCKLAND – Lexair Entertainment, based in the Sydney suburb of Macquarie Park  NSW, announced a joint venture with New Zealand based Entertainment Lighting Solutions (ELS). The new venture is called Lexair New Zealand. Pictured here, from left, are Nick Abel, director of ELS, and Alex Mair, managing director of Lexair.

BELGIUM – Bram de Clerck has joined Robe Lighting s.r.o. as business development manager for Touring, TV & Live Events. He comes to Robe from Controllux BVBA, a distributor of professional lighting equipment with offices in the Netherlands and Belgium, and will continue to be dealing with key customers and lighting and visual designers and specifiers based in Belgium, the Netherlands and surrounding areas.

NASHVILLE – Pennington Entertainment, led by industry veteran Shawn Pennington, announced a partnership with stage design and production company 44 Designs, headed by concert and event production pro Jeff “Lava” Lavallee.
