NASHVILLE – With business growing and the touring inventory constantly expanding, Bandit Lites has added to its Nashville office with the hiring of Ethan Mills, Sombath Inthavong, and Sylvain Thonethongthip. Ethan Mills joins Bandit as the Equipment Coordinator. Bandit’s Technical Service Department has also expanded with the hiring of Sombath Inthavong as Electronics Technician and Sylvain Thonethongthip as Assistant Electronics Technician.

DUBAI – Neumann & Müller Event Technology named Kristofer Collier head of lighting operations and lighting design. Collier, who brings over two decades of experience as a lighting designer, engineer and operator in the Middle East, Europe and Far East to the position, is based in Dubai and will oversee projects in the Middle East.

GREENFIELD, IN – Mid-America Sound Corporation announced a change of ownership on Sept. 9. The company noted that longtime employees Bob Williams and Jason Wells have bought the company from Kerry Darrenkamp, who founded the company in 1976.

SHAKOPEE, MN — Control and automation manufacturer RTI named SFM as its distributor in Canada.

LA GRANADA, CA – Gothenburg, Sweden-based LumenRadio, a wireless technologies manufacturer, announced an OEM partnership with California based Cineo Lighting, a leader in the production of lighting systems available for the motion picture, television and photography industries.

SHAKOPEE, Minn. — RTI, a leading control and automation manufacturer for residential and commercial settings, today announced five new additions to the company’s management team and the opening of a state-of-the-art engineering wing at its corporate headquarters. The sales team appointments include: Matthew Yealy to northwest regional business manager, Angel Madrid to northeast regional business manager, Jonathan Dawson to southwest regional business manager, Bob Templeman to southeast regional business manager, and Greg Peterson to international business manager — Canada.  

NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE – Bandit Lites, the world’s foremost concert lighting company, is continuing to increase its ranks with the hiring of Steve Feathers and promotion of Jeff Vogt at its corporate offices.

PHOENIX –  AVmedia opened their Western headquarters and showroom on Sept. 1. The new facility is located at 21410 North 15th Lane in Phoenix, AZ. With just over 12,000 square feet of office and warehouse space, the Phoenix location will accommodate the company’s regional sales, marketing, services, and executive teams along with the latest in presentation technology and equipment. The Arizona office and showroom will also be home to AVmedia’s creative services and content team and includes a full video editing suite, sound recording room, videoconferencing and graphic production capabilities.

LONDON – White Light named Tom Wilkes business development manager. Wilkes, who joins White Light from Vision SL, a technical production company that he founded in 2009, will focus on White Light’s various rental operations.

SINGAPORE – Robe announced that Jens Poehlker is joining the Robe Asia Pacific team based in Singapore as Managing Director. Prior to his latest appointment, Poehlker opened and ran the Singapore office of MA Lighting for the last nine years.
