BRADFORD, Yorkshire, U.K. – Calibre named Peng Wu sales and marketing manager, APAC. Wu reports  to Richard Laberge, vice president, International Sales at Calibre. The appointment coincides with Calibre’s first presence at the upcoming LED China event, where the sales and engineering team will be present to meet with local manufacturers. 

PETALUMA, CA – Core Brands promoted Eric Herdman to product manager for the ELAN brand. Herdman, who has been working with the ELAN brand since 2007, reports to Mike Jordan, Core Brands vice president, Product Management.

ORLANDO – LMG named Andrew Davis sales engineer for LMG’s Systems Integration division. His role will include cultivating long term relationships and partnerships with House of Worship clients to improve their audiovisual technologies. Andrew will be responsible for consulting, designing, and overseeing House of Worship installations and projects.

SYDNEY – Jands will serve as the exclusive distributor for Global Design Solutions (GDS) in Australia.

HILLSBOROUGH, NC – Enttec Americas recently announced three staff appointments: Brandon Mitchell, technical sales and support; Roz Dahlie, training and education coordinator; and Kaitlin Gill, event production manager/master electrician. They are pictured here, L-R. The company, which has its headquarters in Melbourne, Australia, is a leading manufacturer and distributor of lighting and lighting control products.

NASHVILLE – Morris announced two new team members to its Light & Sound division. Industry veteran Lonnie Taylor has been named director of business development & sales and Chas O’Bradovich as lighting department manager. Taylor brings nearly 30 years of tour management and production experience to Morris. O’Bradovich comes to Morris from Omaha, Nebraska, where she previously worked as a technician at Theatrical Media Services.

BURBANK, CA — Riedel Communications has hired Jake Halverson to serve as sales administrator within the Riedel North America team.

ARGYLE, TX – GoVision recently hired Mark Johnson to become the company’s new VP, Business Development. In his new role, Johnson will lead GoVision’s fixed installation sales efforts while also helping to expand the service and maintenance group to support the company’s fixed installations. Johnson joins GoVision after 18 years with Daktronics.

NASHVILLE – Industry veteran Tom Stanziano is joining 4Wall Entertainment Lighting in the newly established role of Business Development Manager. Stanziano brings nearly 25 years of experience to 4Wall. He will be based in the 4Wall Nashville office while supporting the entire southeast region.

AMSTERDAM – Philips Lighting named Colin Kavanagh head of the company’s entertainment lighting business. Kavanagh, who holds dual Irish/U.S. citizenship, will relocate to Dallas, TX to oversee the company’s entertainment lighting division.

KNOXVILLE, TN – Bandit Lites named Kathy Tanner (pictured here) senior payroll adminsitrator and promoted Shay Simpson controller. Tanner comes to Bandit from the Oak Ridge Housing Authority, where she served as office manager. As controller, Simpson will oversee the company’s accounting operations.

LAS VEGAS, NV –  Morpheus Lights, the U.S distributor of Ayrton LED luminaires, named Pete Engel Ayrton product support specialist. Based at Morpheus’ Las Vegas headquarters, Engel will be responsible for national customer service and technical support of the award-winning Ayrton LED product line.
