ELGIN, IL and MEXICO CITY – In late July, Harting North America opened a sales office in Mexico City and a manufacturing facility in Silao, Mexico,  The Mexico City office is in the Miguel Hidalgo borough, in the Torre Virreyes skyscraper center. The manufacturing plant, the company’s 14th, opened a day later in the Mexican state of Guanajuato, about 375km northwest of Mexico City. The formal name for the Mexico-based business unit is Harting Mexico Sales S.A. de C.V.

ORLANDO, FL — After expanding its Southeast reach from Orlando, Florida, to Atlanta, Georgia, just a few short years ago, Evolve Media Group has grown again, opening a third location in one of the busiest convention destinations in the world, Las Vegas, Nevada. “We’ve always served a broad US market, but West Coast destinations were always slightly challenging,” said Tyler Mayne, CEO of Evolve Media Group.  “With Evolve West Coast now open in Las Vegas, the sky’s the limit.”

WILKES-BARRE, PA – Mountain Productions named Lejan as its dealer representative for the MTN BOX line of cases in Europe. Based in the Netherlands, Lejan has been proding a variety of flight cases, bags, and transport cases for 80 years. MIAMI – Smart Monkeys named Jason Pontius senior manager of special projects, a new position. His appointment marks continued expansion at the show-control specialists, which has been growing its technical team to accommodate increased business.

ARGYLE, TX – GoVision promoted two of its senior executives, Scott McKinnon and Kevin Faciane. WAUKESHA, WI – Blizzard Lighting has added a new employee to its growing roster. Adam Scolaro has joined the sales team as Blizzard Lighting’s Western Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Scolaro will be responsible for all Blizzard Lighting accounts in the Western region of the U.S.. Scolaro comes to Blizzard Lighting with more than five years of sales and account management experience in the professional lighting industry.

KORTRIJK, Belgium – Barco (Nyse/Euronext: BAR; Reuters: BARBt.BR; Bloomberg: BAR BB) announced the departure of its chief financial officer, Carl Peeters, who has decided to pursue a new professional opportunity. Ann Desender, who had been serving as vice president finance & control, will succeed Peeters as CFO for Barco. This change will become effective as of September 2016.

AMHERST, NY— Stampede recently named NEC marketing veteran Ashley Flaska to the position of Senior Vice President of Vendor Marketing.  The appointment is effective immediately, according to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly, to whom Ashley Flaska reports.

LAS VEGAS  – GoVision announced that it has opened a new office and equipment facility in Las Vegas, its fifth such location. The facility enables the company to respond more quickly to client needs in this region. The office will be led by Joe Danczak, who has joined the GoVision team as Account Executive. Joe brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel, event and audio-visual industry – most recently with Encore Event Technologies and AVT Event Technologies – to his new role.

SUN VALLEY, CA. – Cosmic Truss is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Saghbazarian as their new sales manager. He will be working directly with Cosmic Truss brand director David Park. Saghbazarian comes to Cosmic Truss from areas outside of the industry, but with knowledge and understanding of the entertainment industry from earlier experience.
