WAUKESHA, WI – Blizzard Lighting has added a new employee to its growing roster. Adam Scolaro has joined the sales team as Blizzard Lighting’s Western Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Scolaro will be responsible for all Blizzard Lighting accounts in the Western region of the U.S.. Scolaro comes to Blizzard Lighting with more than five years of sales and account management experience in the professional lighting industry.

KORTRIJK, Belgium – Barco (Nyse/Euronext: BAR; Reuters: BARBt.BR; Bloomberg: BAR BB) announced the departure of its chief financial officer, Carl Peeters, who has decided to pursue a new professional opportunity. Ann Desender, who had been serving as vice president finance & control, will succeed Peeters as CFO for Barco. This change will become effective as of September 2016.

AMHERST, NY— Stampede recently named NEC marketing veteran Ashley Flaska to the position of Senior Vice President of Vendor Marketing.  The appointment is effective immediately, according to Stampede President & COO Kevin Kelly, to whom Ashley Flaska reports.

LAS VEGAS  – GoVision announced that it has opened a new office and equipment facility in Las Vegas, its fifth such location. The facility enables the company to respond more quickly to client needs in this region. The office will be led by Joe Danczak, who has joined the GoVision team as Account Executive. Joe brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel, event and audio-visual industry – most recently with Encore Event Technologies and AVT Event Technologies – to his new role.

SUN VALLEY, CA. – Cosmic Truss is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Saghbazarian as their new sales manager. He will be working directly with Cosmic Truss brand director David Park. LONDON – AV company Electrosonic named Steve Leyland executive chairman of the board. Leyland has been a non-executive director and advisor on the Electrosonic board since July 2015 and has worked for many leading global technology companies during his career. Philip Aminoff, who has served as chairman of the Electrosonic board for the last 14 years, remains a director of the board, and chairman of Electrosonic’s parent company Helectron Oy Ab.
