LOS ANGELES – Green Hippo noted that Denis Hessberger has joined the company as a freelance product specialist. Hessberger has extensive experience in lighting and video, including both lighting consoles and media servers. He will work with current and potential users, focusing on the German market.

LAS VEGAS – 4Wall Entertainment Lighting named Jeanette Farmer National Operations Manager for its Systems and Design Division, a new position. Farmer will oversee 4Wall’s nationwide project management and after-sales technical support for the company’s rapidly growing System Integration division.

ORLANDO, FL – LMG named Rick Hyland accounts manager at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. His role will include creating and fostering relationships with current and prospective OCCC clients, as well as manage and oversee LMG’s operations and sales teams at the OCCC.

BRIGHTON, MA – High Output, Inc., a leading New England-based supplier of services and equipment for the entertainment industry, announced the opening of an office in Brighton, MA. AMHERST, NY — Stampede recently announced that its European subsidiary Stampede Europe has acquired all of the assets of Just Lamps, including the affiliated brand Diamond Lamps.

LOS ANGELES – After a hiatus of several years, TMB has officially been reappointed exclusive US distributor of W-DMX products. TMB will represent Wireless Solution for the architectural, entertainment production, staging, and Film/TV markets. TMB is no stranger to the brand, or to the wireless industry, and brings a storehouse of knowledge to the partnership.

LOS ANGELES – Elation Professional announced that Jean Lariviere has joined the company’s sales team as Rental and Production Market Manager. He will work to build on the success Elation has gained in working with top lighting designers and exposing them to the Elation product line.

LAS VEGAS, NV – Morpheus Lights, the exclusive U.S distributor of Ayrton LED luminaires, announced the appointment of Rich Dale as Eastern Regional Sales Manager. In his new role, Dale, a 23-year industry veteran, will be responsible sales and promotion of the Ayrton product line in the Eastern U.S.

WEST BABYLON, NY – Bestek Lighting and Staging noted that Abott Finkel (pictured here), who had been serving as Bestek’s executive vice president after Bestek and Abott Audio merged in 2015, has been running the company as president & CEO since earlier this year, when Bestek founder Van Allen Rice retired. The company, founded by Van Allen Rice in 1974, provides a full range of project management and technical services relating to lighting and staging for events held in the New York City area.

LOS ANGELES – Zylight, a leading manufacturer of innovative LED lighting solutions, recently announced it has been named the exclusive distributor of Aladdin professional LED lighting instruments throughout North, Central and South America. Aladdin’s product line includes the Bi-Flex family of flexible LED panels, which are available in three sizes up to 200 watts.

ORLANDO – Bob Casey, a long time veteran of the entertainment industry, has joined Rose Brand in the company’s new Florida location. Rose Brand recently expanded its operations to the Orlando area with the purchase of Swag Decor, Florida’s leader in event drape rental and installation.  Working with the Florida team, Casey brings a wealth of technical theatre expertise to the Swag Decor and Rose Brand customer base.

ROCHESTER, NY — Whirlwind, a leading interface manufacturer for the live event, audio installations, and theater industries, announced that they are completing a 13,000-square-foot expansion of their New York factory to handle the rapid growth the 41-year-old company has been experiencing. When completed this month, the total size will be 60,000 square feet.
