SUN VALLEY, CA – GLP has appointed the company Fourleaf Inc. to handle its market leading LED and discharge lighting fixtures in Japan. Described by GLP’s Sales Director, Asia, Søren Storm as “young, hungry and with a high energy level” he adds that Fourleaf has further credentials in that the company already has in-depth knowledge of the catalogue, and the existing users in the territory. BUFORD, GA – Analog Way opened its new headquarters for the Americas in Buford, GA, which is in Gwinnett County outside Atlanta. The 15,000 square-foot facility, located at 3047 Summer Oak Place in Buford, will house operations for the company’s staff devoted to sales, administration, finance, IT, technical support and product repair, and also includes a warehouse for the company’s products. The company’s new HQ for the Americas comes after 13 years of focusing its U.S. operations in NYC.

Bilyk has enjoyed a long and successful career in the entertainment lighting market working for numerous leading companies including most recently a 15 year stint as the Canadian Sales Manager for Dallas-based Vari-Lite. KORTRIJK, Belgium – Barco noted April 28, 2016 that Eric Van Zele, CEO, plans to retire later this year and that Jan De Witte, a former corporate officer of the General Electric Company, will serve as CEO of Barco. De Witte will join Barco’s Core Leadership Team in June 2016 to effectively take over as CEO on Oct. 1, 2016. Van Zele will continue to serve on the Board of Directors to ensure continuity of leadership and strategic focus for the company.

MONTREAL – Solotech added Mike Poirier to its Integration Division as Business Development Director for the broadcast market. Before joining Solotech, Poirier held positions a Sales Director, General Manager and Vice President for a number of broadcast equipment manufacturers.The company noted that the appointment was part of its growing commitment to the broadcast industry in the North American market.

NORTH CREEK, NY — Creative Stage Lighting has announced that Elation Professional’s extensive product line is now available to Creative Stage Lighting customers. Elation Professional’s products include a wide range of products including LED moving heads, Video and LED screens, as well as conventional fixtures for broadcast, television, and theatrical applications.

MOONACHIE, NJ – Al Ridella, who led 4Wall’s New York location as general manager for the previous three years, has been promoted to national sales manager.  To fill the vacancy created by Ridella’s new role, the company has added experienced industry executive Brian Friborg to the role of 4Wall New York GM. AUSTIN, TX. – Following the release of the SolaSpot Pro 1000 and SolaWash FX 1000 luminaires at the recent Pro Light & Sound Exhibition, High End Systems has announced several key promotions within their sales and management teams. Jeff Pelzl has been promoted to General Manager of High End Systems; a 26 year veteran of the company, Pelzl has worked in numerous roles within the organization throughout his tenure, most recently in marketing management and as Sales Manager for the Pacific Rim territory.

NASHVILLE —Solotech announced April 18 that it has opened a new office in Nashville, TN. Led by Paul Owen, the office will develop new business opportunities in international touring and special events. Owen, who comes to Solotech from Thunder Audio, will work with Lee Moro, who joined Solotech as senior project director for tours and special events in Sept. 2014. Solotech also noted that Dianna Mariotti will work at the Nashville location as an administrative assistant.
