BELLEVILLE, NJ – Arena Seating noted that its managing director, Niall Gaffney, will now serve as general manager of the New Jersey division of Arena Americas, April 2016. With each of the Arena Americas divisions geographically split into four areas, Gaffney will be responsible for managing and delivering growth across the Northeast Division.

WUPPERTAL, Germany— Continuing the expansion of its North American team, Riedel Communications has appointed Rhett Frazier to oversee business development for the Western United States. Frazier joins the company with nearly a decade of experience in broadcast- and media-focused sales, account management, solution design, and business strategy and development.

NEW YORK – Acolyte LED named lighting industry veteran Travis Jones president of the company’s North American Division. Prior to joining Acolyte LED, Travis, a 20-year industry veteran, served as president and CEO of CRS Electronics and a member of its Board of Directors. Jones also served as vice president, National Accounts for Lighting Science Group and as vice president, Sales and Marketing for the Austin, Texas division of Acuity Brands Lighting.

MONTREAL, Canada — Solotech named Rob Poretti director of integration sales for the company’s Toronto office. Poretti joins the company with more than 30 years of experience in the broadcast, production and post-production industries. He will lead the Toronto sales team with the primary goal of expanding Solotech’s presence in the greater Toronto market.

KITCHENER, Ontario, Canada – Christie announced that Gary Klassen has joined the company as the director of solutions software. Klassen will focus on growing a development team to expand Christie’s software capabilities, which will enable the creation of impactful shared experiences, including large-scale projection mapping projects. Klassen will be based in Kitchener, Ontario.

BRUSSELS, BE– Arkaos PRO named Controllux BV as its exclusive distributor for the company’s hardware and software offerings in the BeNeLux region (Belgium, The Netherlands, Luxembourg).  The agreement was reached in February 2016. WUPPERTAL, Germany — Riedel Communications announced that Jeremy Lommori has been promoted to serve as head of technical sales and support for Riedel North America. Lommori is a production professional with extensive experience in technical design, broadcast engineering, live event production and postproduction, as well as comprehensive knowledge in design, integration, and maintenance of television production systems, professional audio and lighting equipment, and integrated control systems.

BERLIN, Germany – Creative Technology (CT) named Michael Grabinski New Business Development Manager for Broadcast, Event, Sport and Live Entertainment. Grabinski will take responsibility for CT’s new office in Berlin-Brandenburg which is located on the Filmpark Babelsberg site in the Babelsberg FX Center.

BOCHUM, Germany – tarm Showlaser GmbH became a member of the Laserworld Group in January, adding to the higher end portion of Laserworld Group’s growing portfolio of laser-related products and services.

CHARLOTTE, NC – Neutrik named Bryan Sherrel finance director. Sherrel will direct Neutrik USA’s financial planning and accounting practices with lending institutions, shareholders, and the financial community. He is based at the company’s U.S. headquarters Charlotte and began work Feb. 1.

KARLSBAD, Germany – GLP announced that one of its former senior employees. Dejan Hajdukovic, who had been part of the sales team from 2008-2012, is returning as Sales Managerl Hajdukovic will be based at company headquarters in Karlsbad, Germany.
