ELGIN, IL – Harting U.S. named Dr. Vivek Dave Director of Technology Development. Dr. Dave will be directing all North America related research activities, new technologies and projects with HARTING’s key technology partners.

DETROIT – Burst has moved it’s Detroit-based headquarters to a larger location. The new 30,000 square foot facility features a 20,000 square foot warehouse with a load bearing roof, two levels of sales and administrative offices as well as multiple pre-visualization rooms for pre lighting production and programming. The new location is at 6774 Brandt St., Romulus, MI 48174. Burst also announced the launch of an 8,000 square foot, full production/rental facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The alliance promises to deliver what event rights holders and advertisers have long dreamed of: A means to understand the audience viewing their on-site displays, coupled with the ability to trigger digital content, by viewer, in real time.

ANN ARBOR, MI – Cameo Stancliff recently joined Ann Arbor, Michigan based lighting, rigging and AV solutions and production company – TLS Productions, Inc. Stancliff, who brings 18 years of experience with the Freeman Companies, will be concentrating on driving sales for TLS outside of the auto industry. Over the last year she has focused on custom booth sales and management with Plus Studios, Inc., as well as consulting and assisting customer needs on large accounts in the Las Vegas area.

STUTTGART, Germany – The European management team at Creative Technology has been reinforced: Dieter E. Gross (MBA) has been appointed as Business Development Director and will take on the responsibility for business development and sales for Creative Technology’s German operation.

NASHVILLE – DWP Live added Ryan Darling to its recently founded laser scanning division. Darling, who brings expertise in 3D laser scanning to the position, will work closely with the company’s projection mapping unit. He joins DWPLive after gaining experience at Darling Geomatics in Tuscon, Az where he’s worked since 2002, most recently as vice president of 3D technologies.

DALLAS – Syncrolite LLC named Gregg Brooks as the company’s technical sales manager.  In his new position, Brooks will work with existing and new customers in all product groups at Syncrolite including the newly acquired Strong and SkyTracker lines. Brooks brings 23 years of professional experience as a lighting designer, production designer, programmer and stage technician.  His career has taken him all over the world, working for top designers on concert tours including Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Cher and many more.

FARMINGDALE, NY — Group One Limited tapped Sound Vision Marketing to serve as the latest independent sales representative for its elektraLite division. Tyler Wise, Group One’s national sales manager for the brand, made the announcement. HONG KONG  – Acolyte and Lucibel, two LED lighting manufacturers, are joining forces to offer Acolyte’s premium American brand of linear lighting and Lucibel’s premium European brand of Panel Lyte, track lights and down lights to the Asia market. These two brands combined can now offer a full line of premium LED lighting products to the specification and distribution markets.

ORLANDO, FL – LMG named Dan Wilson sales engineer for the company’s systems integration division. His role will include providing professional consultation to systems integration clients to assure they are installing AV systems that meet their communication needs. He also will be responsible for designing audio visual systems, consulting with higher education, government, and corporate clients, while providing technology solutions for classrooms, training rooms, and boardrooms.
