SAN FRANCISCO — VER named Gabe Nahshon Outside Sales Representative/Project Manager. Nahshon, who will be involved with the company’s lighting, video and audio support for a variety of projects, will be based at VER’s San Francisco location. Prior to joining VER, Nahshon spent six years with Delicate Production’s Northern California location.

CARLSTADT, NJ — City Theatrical has been named exclusive distributor for Core Lighting products in the Americas. Along with the QolorPoint battery powered wireless uplighter (pictured here), other Core Lighting products with City Theatrical’s SHoW DMX built in are set to ship in late 2015 and early 2016.

SINGAPORE – Alfonso Zarate Takano is the new Clay Paky Area Manager for the Asia Pacific region (APAC), comprising all countries in the Far East, South Asia and Oceania. He will report operationally to Sales Manager Alberico D’Amato, and is based at the offices maintained by Clay Paky’s parent company, Osram, in Singapore.

NORWALK, CT – Theatre Projects noted that Jim Niesel, who began his theatre consulting career at Theatre Projects back in 2001 before joining Arup in 2007, has returned to the consulting firm as project manager and theatre equipment/audio-video designer.

BLACKPOOL, UK – Astera named Stardream as the exclusive distributor of its wireless, app-controlled LED event lights in the U.K. Stardream, based in Blackpool, will support the brand in England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. 

SECAUCUS, NJ – Rose Brand recently added Brandi Vold to the company’s sales team. Vold has more than 14 years of sales and management experience in a variety of fields. Prior to joining the Rose Brand team, Vold worked in product development for an Atlanta-based company.

LOS ANGELES – A.C.T Lighting, Inc. promoted Ryan Hindinger to director of sales logistics, a new position.  Hindinger, a 2006 graduate of Loyola College in Maryland with a B.A. in English Literature and Theater, began his career in sales with A.C.T Lighting in 2007.

BEAVERTON, OR – Biamp Systems named Rob Houston product manager for unified communications (UC) products. Based in Beaverton, Houston will report to Director of Product Management Shell Haffner and be responsible for the strategy, development, and promotion of the company’s UC solutions.

MONTREAL — Claude Régimbald, who joined Solotech in 2012 when it acquired Specs Audio, the company he founded in 1979, has been named director of business development for the Quebec region. Prior to his new role with the company, Régimbald served as as general director of Solotech’s offices in Gatineau, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario.
